Two killed, three injured: consequences of strikes on Kharkiv and suburbs

A Russian FPV drone attacked Slatyne, killing two local residents. In Kharkiv, three people suffered acute stress reactions after the Russian strike, and six private houses and five cars were damaged.

At around 7 p.m. on August 25, the Russian army struck Kharkiv.

Three people suffered acute stress reactions in the Osnovyanskyi district.

6 private houses and 5 cars were damaged.

The consequences of the Russian attack are being eliminated.

Two people died as a result of the attack by a Russian FPV drone, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

According to the investigation, on August 25, at around 4:30 p.m., Russian military personnel attacked the village of Slatyne with an FPV drone.

The impact occurred near a residential building.

Two local residents, a 50-year-old and a 51-year-old man, were killed.

The two men were cleaning the roadside area from the consequences of a “flyover” near one of the households. At about 16:20, the Russians targeted them with an FPV drone. Unfortunately, the men died on the spot from their injuries. The issue of transporting their bodies to the morgue for further burial is currently being resolved.

Also at about 17:00, another FPV drone hit a private house, causing a fire. There were no casualties, but the fire is still ongoing. Due to the extreme danger of repeated strikes, it was impossible to involve the State Emergency Service units to eliminate it.

The prosecutor’s office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
