
On the afternoon of August 25, the Russians attacked Chernihiv and the region with drones. It is previously known about three wounded people: a 55-year-old woman and two men, aged 51 and 57.
In Chernihiv, the Russians shot at warehouses, a fire broke out. A forest fire also occurred in one of the city’s microdistricts. According to the Chernihiv City Military Administration, two casualties are known, and the consequences of the attack are still being clarified.
As a result of the shelling, an energy facility was damaged. As a result, more than 30 thousand subscribers in the Chernihiv district and the city of Slavutych were left without electricity.
Energy workers will be able to begin inspecting the damaged equipment and restoring work after the security situation allows it.
In the village of Staryy Bilous, falling debris was recorded in an open area.
Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attacks, recording the destruction and collecting evidence.
Information about the events has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
