In Kherson, a utility worker died and another was injured in a Russian attack

On September 1, Russian troops attacked utility workers in Kherson with a drone. One man was seriously injured.

According to the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office, at about 12:00, Russian servicemen attacked a man who was moving on a bridge in Kherson with a drone. As a result of the explosive device, a 43-year-old civilian received injuries incompatible with life.

The deceased in the Korabelny district was an employee of one of the city’s utility companies. He was taken to the hospital in extremely serious condition. The man’s life could not be saved – the injuries he received turned out to be fatal.

Later, it became known that a 31-year-old man was taken to the hospital – another utility worker who was injured as a result of a drone attack in the Korabelny district at about 12:00. He has a mine-explosive injury.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that caused the death of a person.
