At night — houses and “Orlivka”, during the day — postal terminal: Odesa region under attack again

On the night of September 1, Odesa region was subjected to a massive combined Russian attack. As a result of the strikes, civilian infrastructure was damaged, one person was injured.

During the night attack, two residential buildings were damaged. A fire also broke out in the territory of a sewing workshop. Another target was the international crossing point for the ferry service “Orlivka” on the border with Romania. Rescuers localized the fires that broke out after the strikes.

Attacks on the civilian infrastructure of the region continued today. As a result of a new hit, the premises of the postal terminal, which had already been damaged during the previous Russian attack, caught fire.

The fire on the territory of the terminal was extinguished by the State Emergency Service units. 39 rescuers and 12 pieces of equipment were involved in the work.

This time, there were no fatalities or injuries at the postal facility. The relevant services continue to work at the site.
