Russia strikes four Ukrnafta gas stations

From 06:00 on September 5 to 06:00 on September 6, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the Ukrnafta network. The company’s facilities in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were under fire.

The first attack occurred on the evening of September 5 in the Kyiv region, where a Russian drone hit one of the network’s facilities. As a result of the approach, a fire broke out and the equipment suffered significant damage.

Later, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia:

Around midnight – UAVs struck the gas station’s warehouse, damaging capital buildings.

A second strike on the night of September 6 – drones attacked the territory of another gas station in the city, damaging the equipment and canopy, and the debris caused grass to catch fire.

The latest attack was recorded in the morning in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where a gas station was also hit.

As a result of all four attacks, no people were injured.

The Ukrnafta company emphasizes that the Russian Federation continues to purposefully attack civilian facilities that provide the population with fuel and essential goods. There is no military purpose in such attacks. This is terror against the civilian population.

The Ukrnafta network continues to operate, restores damaged facilities and provides fuel to citizens, businesses and critical services.

Recently, Russian troops have sharply increased attacks on Ukrainian gas stations. Such attacks are aimed primarily at intimidating the civilian population, and not at damaging military logistics.

In particular, due to Russian shelling, not a single gas station has survived in the Opishnya community of Poltava region, and the restoration of facilities is currently impossible.

In response to the threats, Ukrnafta is already preparing to operate in mobile gas stations mode to promptly provide consumers with fuel in the event of damage to stationary gas stations.
