10 people injured in Russian attack on train in Sumy district

10 people were injured in a Russian drone strike on a commuter train in Sumy district.

The impact caused a fire in the locomotive and a passenger car. While extinguishing the fire, SES employees transported the injured to emergency medical vehicles.

According to emergency responders, the locomotive and a passenger car caught fire as a result of the Russian attack. Rescuers transported injured passengers to ambulances while extinguishing the fire.

While firefighters were working, Russia cynically struck the scene again. Fortunately, none of the SES personnel were injured, and all sources of fire were completely extinguished.

Rescuers and local authorities evacuated 19 passengers.

People were taken out by an armored SES vehicle and a local government bus.

Previously, 10 people were injured in the attack.
