Russians launched a repeated attack on the Universal Logistic pharmaceutical warehouse near Kyiv

In the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region, emergency responders have been working for a second day to extinguish a fire at a logistics warehouse following a Russian attack. On the night of September 13, the facility—where State Emergency Service (SES) units were already operating—was struck again, sparking new fires.

Additional forces were deployed to help extinguish the blaze, including the Boryspil International Airport fire service. There have been no reports of fatalities or injuries resulting from the second strike so far.

Initial reports of the fire in the Boryspil district emerged on September 12. Following the Russian attack, warehouse premises caught fire, and emergency crews began containment and extinguishing operations.

Work continued through the night, which is when the facility was struck a second time.

For the firefighters, this effectively meant starting a new operation: they had to redo some of the work already completed and contain new hotspots while simultaneously conducting a reconnaissance of the site.

In such conditions, emergency responders must work while constantly accounting for the risk of further attacks and air raid alerts.

A fire service unit from Boryspil Airport was brought in to assist with extinguishing the fire.

This move was intended to reinforce the rescue operation at the warehouse; the airport itself was not cited in the SES report as the site of the impact.

Such reinforcements are necessary during large-scale fires when significant amounts of equipment and personnel are operating simultaneously at a single site.
