Russian forces strike passenger train locomotive near Polish border

On September 13, in the Volyn region—approximately two kilometers from the state border with Poland—enemy forces struck the locomotive of a passenger train.

According to the Ukrzaliznytsia press service, an early warning regarding an aerial threat, issued by the train crew’s monitoring team, helped prevent injuries among passengers and railway staff.

“We continue to monitor aerial threats, ensure train operations, and take maximum measures to ensure the safety of passengers and railway workers,” Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.
