Russian attack on the Kyiv region on September 21: fire at a facility; homes, vehicles, and warehouses damaged

Russian forces launched another strike on the Kyiv region on the afternoon of September 21, targeting the Bucha district.

In one of the district’s settlements, a fire broke out at an industrial facility following drone strikes. State Emergency Service (SES) units deployed personnel and specialized equipment to extinguish the blaze.

In another settlement within the district, the blast wave and debris damaged two private homes, four vehicles, and warehouse facilities.

There have been no reports of fatalities or injuries among residents.

Firefighters also extinguished a fire at a warehouse in the Boryspil district that had started following a Russian attack on September 20. Rescuers are currently dismantling structures and dousing them with water to prevent reignition.

On September 20, drone strikes in the Kyiv region damaged 34 properties, including private homes, warehouse and production facilities, a dormitory, administrative buildings, an auto repair shop, a gas station, a farm, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles.
