Russia attacks transport infrastructure facility in Zhytomyr region; fire breaks out

On the morning of September 22, Russian forces struck a transport infrastructure facility in the Zhytomyr region.

A fire broke out at the site where the drone crashed; it was promptly extinguished by State Emergency Service (SES) rescuers.

Due to the threat of repeated strikes, rescuers were initially unable to begin firefighting operations. Once the security situation stabilized, emergency crews quickly contained and extinguished the blaze.

Preliminary reports indicate there were no fatalities or injuries.
