Russia strikes Sumy with guided aerial bombs; four people hospitalized

On September 23, Russian forces attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs. Preliminary reports indicate that the Russians launched at least three strikes on the city’s Zarichnyi district. Four people were injured in the attack and taken to the hospital.

According to Oleh Hryhorov, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the Russian strikes hit a residential area, civilian infrastructure, and non-residential buildings. Vehicles were also damaged.

A large-scale fire broke out at the site of one of the impacts. The four injured individuals have been transported to the hospital, where medical personnel are providing all necessary care.
