Russia strikes Oschadbank building in Kherson; staff and assets evacuated

One of Oschadbank’s buildings in Kherson sustained significant damage after being hit by an artillery shell during a Russian attack on September 22.

Bank staff were unharmed, as operations had previously been relocated to a safer site.

Bank assets and valuables were also evacuated.

Oschadbank continues to serve clients in Kherson and the region via alternative channels. To ensure uninterrupted service, the bank maintains backup energy and telecommunications infrastructure.

Oschadbank’s network comprises over 1,150 operational branches. Designated branches are part of the “Power Banking” system, featuring autonomous power supplies and redundant communication links. Clients can also perform most transactions remotely using the bank’s online services.

Mobile banking units are a key tool for operations in frontline regions. In total, Oschadbank operates 15 such units based on specialized vehicles, with 10 currently serving frontline areas.

Russian drone attacks garbage truck in Priozerne, Kherson region; two municipal workers injured

On the morning of September 24, a Russian drone attacked a garbage truck in Priozerne, Kherson region, injuring two municipal workers.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the attack occurred around 8:30 a.m. Doctors diagnosed a 49-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man with blast injuries, concussion, and acute stress reaction. Both were prescribed outpatient treatment.
