Russian forces launched massive strikes on four cities in the Zhytomyr region, resulting in numerous hits

Between the evening of September 28 and the morning of September 29, Russian troops carried out ten strikes on the Zhytomyr region. Russian forces launched massive attacks on industrial facilities in Ovruch, Zhytomyr, Korosten, and Zviahel.

They also targeted fuel and transport infrastructure in the region using jet-powered attack drones. Emergency responders are currently addressing the aftermath of the strikes. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or injuries.

Russia has been shelling the Zhytomyr region with increasing frequency. Just recently, the Russian Federation struck an ice cream factory. On September 5, a Russian jet-powered “Shahed” drone attacked a cold storage warehouse belonging to the ice cream manufacturer “Rud” on the outskirts of Zhytomyr, completely destroying the facility along with its administrative and utility buildings.
