Gymnasium, enterprise, and animal shelter damaged: eight people injured in Russian attack near Odesa

On the night of September 29, Russian forces attacked the Odesa district, damaging an animal shelter, a manufacturing plant, a gymnasium, a dormitory, and residential buildings; eight people were injured.

According to the Odesa region’s State Emergency Service, residential buildings and an animal shelter were damaged, and fires broke out at the sites. At other locations, a manufacturing plant, warehouses, a gymnasium, a dormitory, as well as passenger cars and trucks, sustained damage.

The State Emergency Service reported that all fires have since been extinguished. Preliminary data indicates that eight people were injured.

More than 190 rescuers were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

The animal shelter reported that the entire stock of animal feed was destroyed in the attack. Three dogs and 10 cats were killed.
