
At noon on October 5, Russian forces launched a drone strike against a multi-story apartment building in the city of Berdychiv. Emergency and rescue services responded to the scene.
The attack caused a fire in one of the apartments, which was promptly extinguished by State Emergency Service rescuers. Apartments between the 4th and 9th floors, as well as private vehicles, sustained damage.
A 55-year-old local resident sought medical attention; doctors diagnosed him with an acute stress reaction, and he was hospitalized.
Officers from the Berdychiv District Police Department are documenting the aftermath of the Russian attack. Police explosive ordnance disposal specialists are inspecting the impact site and the surrounding area to locate and neutralize any hazardous objects that may remain following the strike.
