At the same time, from 09.15 there was also mortar shelling – 5 attacks on the Yunakivsk community.

At 09:06, the enemy dropped a mine on the territory of the Krasnopil community.

The Yunakiv community was also hit by mortar fire: 5 “arrivals” were recorded here since 09:15.

As specified by the regional military administration, in all cases there were no losses and destruction.

It will be recalled that on Sunday, February 19, Russian troops shelled five territorial communities of the Sumy region with mortars, a total of 78 “hits” were recorded.

In the village of Rubizhne, Chuguyiv district, on the morning of February 21, a civilian was blown up by an unknown explosive device. A medical team went to the scene. The condition of the wounded is still unknown.

According to the data of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, about 10 private residences, power grids, etc. were damaged in total.

The shelling is being investigated under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

Serhiy Melnyk, the head of the Kharkiv garrison, said in the evening of February 20 that, according to preliminary data, the occupiers hit Kupyansk with S-300 missiles.

 “Yesterday evening in Kupyansk, the occupiers once again engaged in a battle with civilian objects. This time, the sports building was damaged by shelling, and an enemy projectile hit its territory,” Melnyk commented.

The shelling caused two fires during the day, reported the Main Office of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region.

A private house on an area of ​​30 square meters was burning in Novoosynovo. m, it was extinguished for an hour and a half. In Vovchansk, the ceiling and roof of a private house caught fire from the impact of the projectile, and the flames spread to 80 square meters. m.

The rescuers also went out twice to check after the shelling. Damage to three residential buildings and fences was recorded in Dvorichnaya. In Novoosynovo, one house was destroyed, another one and an outbuilding were damaged.
