
Overnight into October 7, Kyiv was attacked by Russian ballistic missiles. Impacts were recorded in three districts of the capital. Tragically, there have been fatalities.
According to Chairman Klitschko, impacts occurred in non-residential areas within the Obolonskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. In the Podilskyi district, the strike hit warehouse facilities.
Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that debris had fallen in an open area and at a garage cooperative in the Darnytskyi district, resulting in the deaths of two people. Details regarding the aftermath of the attack are still being clarified.
At 3:00 a.m., an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic missile strikes. Almost immediately after the warning regarding missiles heading toward Kyiv, a series of explosions rocked the city.
