From October 7 to November 13, a commission from the General Staff of the Armed Forces is conducting an inspection of the territorial defense command bodies in the Mogilev region, the Ministry of Defense reports.
Vladimir Bely, Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Minister of Defense, presented the directive for forming territorial defense units in the Krichev district to Anatoly Isachenko, Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
Plans are in place to call up reservists and conduct “field training exercises” with them across the region: “All administrative districts of the region will be involved, with territorial defense units set to be formed in the Krichev district.”
The primary objective of these activities is to test the functionality of command-and-control systems, as well as “comprehensive support and coordination—specifically, the ability of executive committee officials and command officers to execute tasks related to the deployment and conduct of territorial defense under modern conditions and in light of existing challenges.”
The final stage will feature a “command-staff exercise” involving the district’s territorial defense units.

Against this backdrop, the ruling regime is conducting military exercises almost continuously. Inspections of various military branches and units are also being carried out regularly.
