Following another Russian attack on the Khmelnytskyi region on October 19, there are casualties among the civilian population. Russian strikes hit residential areas, causing fires to break out in homes.

According to Serhii Tiurin, Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, two people were injured in the Russian shelling and have been hospitalized. Another person affected by the attack received all necessary medical assistance at the scene.

The Russians continue to cynically terrorize civilians by deliberately targeting residential areas. The strikes ignited fires in two residential buildings.

Units of the State Emergency Service, medics, and other emergency services are on-site, working to address the aftermath of the Russian attack. Information regarding the destruction and the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

Residents of the region are urged not to ignore air raid sirens and to remain in shelters until the all-clear is officially announced.
