In the settlement of Manevychi, Volyn region, Russian drone attacks have continued for the fourth consecutive day. A strike on the private enterprise “Agrofrukt” resulted in the death of one employee and injuries to eight others. Operations have now ceased, leaving more than 300 workers without jobs.
During the night and morning of October 19, Manevychi came under attack by Russian drones once again—an unprecedented event for the community.
The Russian drone attacks have also caused disruptions to the settlement’s electricity and water supply.
“Agrofrukt” specialized in the freezing of fruits and mushrooms. With production now halted, over 300 employees are out of work. Debris is currently being cleared at the site, and efforts to address the aftermath of the Russian shelling are ongoing.
