Mother and two daughters injured in Russian attack in Rivne region

At the time of the strike by a jet-powered drone—which occurred on October 22 at approximately 1:00 p.m.—a 46-year-old resident of the Sarny district and her daughters, aged 16 and 15, were inside their home. All three were taken to the hospital; fortunately, their injuries were minor, and they did not require hospitalization.

A residential house and a fence were also damaged.

Community police officers promptly arrived at the scene and secured the area. Explosives experts inspected the impact site and found no hazardous objects. Debris from the Russian drone was recovered.

Investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor’s Office, are documenting the war crime and conducting a criminal investigation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
