Belarus continues to support signal transmission for Russian drones; no increase in troop numbers at the border

As of today, there is no observed buildup of Russian Armed Forces within the territory of Belarus; however, signal repeaters—which support Russian drones attacking Ukraine—continue to operate.

According to Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, there is significant concern regarding a potential buildup of forces in Belarus near the Ukrainian border—but, fortunately, this is not happening. Ukrainian intelligence units continue to monitor the overall security situation, keeping a close watch on developments in Belarus, a country that aligns itself with the Kremlin. At the same time, the continued operation of signal repeaters—technical equipment that supports the signal for Russian drones—remains a security factor for Ukraine. Unfortunately, their operation continues to be detected. While this does not necessarily mean that a repeater is active 24/7 in a single location, we observe that the sites where they are activated change periodically.

Andrii Demchenko stated that Belarus continues to provide this form of assistance for Russian strikes against Ukrainian territory.
