Russia launched 27 strikes on an energy facility in the Kharkiv region

Between October 28 and 31—the end of last week—Russian forces carried out 27 targeted strikes using “Shahed” drones against an energy facility in the Kharkiv region.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, energy workers, municipal services, and State Emergency Service units are currently working to restore electricity and other utility services following the attacks. These efforts are being carried out even while shelling continues.

The electricity supply situation in the region depends on the status of Ukraine’s overall energy grid. Due to strikes on energy infrastructure in other regions, emergency power outages may also be implemented in the Kharkiv region.

At present, the energy system in the Kharkiv region remains stable and under control.
