Drones attack energy facilities and homes in Western Ukraine

On the night of November 4, Russian forces launched a massive attack using “Shahed”-type drones against towns and villages in western Ukraine. An energy facility in the Ternopil region was damaged after being struck by a drone.

The Russian army also used drones to attack energy infrastructure in the Kovel district of the Volyn region. On the evening of November 3, a significant part of this region—including the city of Lutsk—lost power. By the morning of November 4, energy workers had managed to restore electricity to all affected settlements.

In the Rivne district, a private home was partially destroyed by Russian strikes, sparking a fire. Fortunately, the residents were unharmed.

Russian forces also struck homes and energy facilities across three districts of the Zhytomyr region. Repair work and the reconnection of consumers are currently underway in the area. Previously, Russian strikes had caused a blackout in the city of Zhytomyr and parts of the surrounding region.
