Russia allocates more than 300 million rubles for the destruction of Ukrainian libraries in the occupied territories

Russia allocates more than 300 million rubles for the fight against Ukrainian books in our temporarily occupied territories. 200 million rubles from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation should be used for the purchase and distribution of Russian books in the east and south of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Center of National Resistance under the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Another 120 million rubles should be spent on the creation of three model libraries in each of the regions of Ukraine occupied by Russia.

To this is added 40 million rubles, which are allocated to the occupiers for libraries under their control in Ukrainian cities and villages temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.

Now the Russians continue to remove Ukrainian books from local libraries. The invaders destroyed these copies, and filled the empty shelves with Russian literature. In this way, they will strengthen their ideological influence on the residents of the occupied territories.

“Another proof that history is cyclical. The Russians set themselves the goal of destroying Ukrainian literature in the occupied territory. This is a characteristic feature of Russia – to destroy the native language, to impose its own rules of life,” the Center for National Resistance notes.

Russians know that language and culture form the national identity of each people, so 400 years ago, and now Russia is trying to destroy everything Ukrainian.
