Russian troops once again shelled the Donetsk region: there are dead and wounded

Shells hit private houses. In the afternoon of Wednesday, April 5, Russian troops shelled the village of Velika Novosilka in the Donetsk region, said the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak: “the Russians carried out a tank attack on the urban-type village of Velika Novosilka, hitting civilians. It is known that one person was killed and two were wounded.”

On April 4, the Russians shelled populated areas of the Donetsk region in three directions. Unfortunately, as a result of enemy shelling, four civilians were killed and 11 more were injured. A hospital, a registration center for homeless people, private and multi-apartment buildings, a shop and a former coffee shop were damaged.

Against the background of the difficult security situation in the Donetsk region, on April 5, a decision was made to forcibly evacuate children from 21 settlements in the region.
