The Russians shelled the Mykolaiv region with artillery: residential buildings were destroyed and cars were damaged

On the night of April 12, Russian troops launched a massive artillery attack on the Ochakivska community. There were no casualties.

This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaly Kim.

Ochakiv came under fire, as a result of which the city suffered considerable destruction.

“Residential buildings were destroyed and damaged. Cars, Internet, gas and electricity networks were also damaged,” noted Vitaliy Kim.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisky, Voznesensky and Bashtansky districts, the day passed peacefully.

On April 12, 8 civilian objects were damaged by Russian shelling in Mykolaiv Oblast

As of April 12, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, 17,119 civilian objects have been partially or completely damaged in the Mykolaiv region.

This was reported in the press service of the Mykolaiv regional military administration.

Of them:

– housing stock objects – 11,241;

– medical institutions – 98;

– educational institutions – 413;

– cultural institutions – 200;

– facilities of industrial enterprises – 192;

– life support facilities: gas – 1,395, electricity – 1,109, water – 43, heat supply – 96;

– other non-military objects – 2332.

At present, works are ongoing in the region to restore gas and electricity supply in the settlements affected by the war.

Currently, only 4,978 consumers are without gas supply.

At this time, the electricity supply to 7 legal subscribers of the Bashtan district has been stopped – all settlements and household consumers are 100% restored.

On April 12, in order to eliminate the consequences of Russian aggression, units of the main administration of the State Emergency Service were involved 33 times to identify and remove 66 explosive objects.

Voluntary evacuation is underway. As of April 12, there are 476 internally displaced persons in temporary accommodation facilities in Mykolaiv.

Kharkiv region

Broken houses and damaged infrastructure: The police showed the consequences of shelling in the Kharkiv region

During April 12, the Russians shelled Kupyansk, Vovchansk, Synkivka, and Shebelinka.

Kharkiv investigators recorded the consequences of the shelling, as a result of which a woman was injured and private houses were damaged.

This was reported by the communication department of the main administration of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

According to the police, as a result of repeated shelling in the city of Vovchansk, residential buildings were damaged. A 62-year-old woman was wounded by shelling in the village of Kindrashivka, Kupyan district.

After the occupation by the Russians, the mine danger remains high in the liberated territories. On April 12, a 31-year-old man was blown up by an unknown explosive device while working in a field in the Kupyan district. In the village of Rubizhne, Chuguyiv district, a 48-year-old man stepped on an enemy mine in the yard of his own house. The injured were taken to medical facilities.

According to the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
