In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, the occupation authorities will start restricting the rights of citizens who do not have Russian passports from May, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said at a briefing, adding that cases of looting, torture, murder, and illegal imprisonment continue to be recorded there. of civilians: “We know that the Russians are intensifying work on forced passporting of residents of the left-bank Kherson region. Since May, people who do not have passports of the Russian Federation plan to restrict their rights. They will not be allowed at Russian checkpoints and will be refused service in hospitals.”

He added that kidnappings, looting, illegal imprisonment of civilians, torture and killing of civilians continue to be recorded in the occupied territory of the region.

In particular, there are rare cases when locals were thrown into the basement just because “someone didn’t like them”.

At the same time, the head of the regional military administration commented on the number of personnel of the enemy troops in the left-bank Kherson region. According to him, the number of military personnel of the Russian Federation almost does not change. In particular, some units are rotated, but the total number remains unchanged.

Prokudin reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, as a result of Russian shelling, more than 6,000 civilian infrastructure facilities have been completely destroyed or damaged in the Kherson region, of which more than 4,000 are residential buildings.
