As a result of shelling in the Kherson region, 10 people were injured, including one child

The Russian military continues to bombard the Kherson region with all possible types of weapons.

On May 8, the Russians shelled the Kherson region, as a result of which 9 people were injured, including a minor child and the headman of the Antoniv district.

The press service of the Kherson regional military administration reported that as a result of Russian strikes on Antonivka, two people were injured – a 67-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man. Both victims were hospitalized.

“The woman has serious injuries – multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, chest and abdomen. Doctors are doing everything possible to save her life,” the message reads.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, the head of the press office of the Kherson regional military administration, said that in the afternoon Russian soldiers fired on Stanislav, four people were injured: “Five wounded soldiers were taken to Bilozersk hospital. They were given help there and released home. Among them is a 9-year-old child. The boy received a mine- explosive injuries and head injuries. Now the child’s life is not in danger”.

The injured 47-year-old woman was hospitalized in Kherson in a moderate condition.

“Air bombs were also dropped on Kizomys. In Kizomys, two houses were destroyed again as a result of this shelling,” said Tolokonnikov.

The head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, reported that the head of the Antoniv district, Serhii Ivashchenko, together with his co-worker, came under fire from the Russians. It happened in Antonivka near the point of invincibility. The victims received injuries of varying degrees of severity and are currently in the hospital, where they are being provided with all necessary assistance.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, reported that six civilians were injured as a result of the shelling of Stanislav.

The military took the five wounded to the Bilozerka hospital. There they were given medical assistance and sent home.

The press service of the Kherson Prosecutor’s Office reported that under the procedural leadership of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Kherson Region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Priority measures are being taken to fix the crime committed by the army of the Russian Federation.
