This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov: “Over the past day, the enemy has shelled at least 20 settlements in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, and Chuguyiv districts of the region, using barrel and rocket artillery, mortars, aviation, and rocket weapons.”
According to Synegubov, the Russians used combat aircraft in the districts of Masyutivka, Kislivka, and Pershotravnevo.
Demining works are ongoing in Kharkiv region. During the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 8 hectares of territory and neutralized 205 explosive objects.
On the night of May 18, Russian troops launched a rocket attack on the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv district. Therefore, residents of Kharkiv could hear the explosions.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.
“Last night, the enemy launched a missile attack, first from the S-300 air defense system, on the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv district. The missile hit the ground,” he said.
According to the head of the region, initially, there were no victims and large-scale destruction.
“A private car was damaged,” Sinegubov added.
On May 18, explosions rang out in Kharkiv, an air alert was announced in the city and region.
