In Kyiv, the wreckage of “Shahed” fell on a high-rise building

On the night of May 20, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with kamikaze drones. Debris of the downed Shahed” fell on a house in the Dnipro district of the capital and caused a fire. As a result of the fall of the fragments of the Shahed” drone on a house in the Dnipro district at night, a fire broke out. The residents of the building were evacuated.

4 apartments were damaged as a result of the falling debris of “Shahed”

The State Emergency Service said that rescuers extinguished the fire on the roof of a 9-story residential building with a total area of 80 square meters. Previously, damage was detected in 4 apartments.

7 units of basic and special fire-rescue equipment, as well as 30 personnel, were involved at the scene. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire.

The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv also showed the consequences of extinguishing the fire after falling debris.

What is known about the night attack of “Shakhed” on Kyiv

Again in recent weeks, the Russian military attacked Kyiv. Around 5 a.m., the chairman of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko announced several explosions in the capital, in particular in the Darnytsia and Dnipro districts.

Also, according to the chairman of the capital, as a result of falling debris in the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative.

Falling debris was recorded in the same area and in several other places. Earlier, there was also an explosion in Desnyan district.

According to Klitschko, there were no victims at the places where the debris fell in the Darnytskyi and Dnipro districts.

The Kyiv City Military Administration said that in the Pechersk district due to falling debris, the windows of a residential building were damaged, and in the Solomyansk district the road surface and vehicles were damaged.
