On May 21, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region 57 times, resulting in the death of one person. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, announced this.

It is known that the Russians fired 318 shells from heavy artillery, hail, tanks, UAVs and aviation.

According to the head of the regional military administration, the Russians targeted the residential quarters of the population centers of the region, as well as the objects of social and critical infrastructure of the Berislav district.

“Regarding the evacuation of the population. 79 people have been evacuated from the de-occupied territory of the region,” the message reads.

The army of the Russian Federation is shelling the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, where they themselves announced the evacuation.

On May 22, the Russian military attacked the Kherson region. As reported by the Kherson regional military administration, there is a wounded person.

“The Russian army attacked Kachkarivka village of the Myliv community. One person was injured due to shelling. The victim was hospitalized, doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance,” the Kherson regional military administration reported.
