On June 5, Russian troops damaged an ammonia pipeline in the Kupyan district of the Kharkiv region as a result of shelling. Depressurization occurred, which poses a danger to the environment and local residents. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov: “In the Kupyan district, the Russians damaged an ammonia pipeline. As a result of enemy strikes, the pipeline was depressurized.”

According to him, in connection with the incident in the Kupyan district of the Kharkiv region, a headquarters was organized to eliminate the consequences. All the necessary services are working at the scene, including specialists dealing with this problem.

However, the details of the incident and measures to eliminate it have not yet been disclosed.

Ammonia is a chemical that in its gaseous state can cause eye and respiratory irritation. When exposed to ammonia, people may experience symptoms such as watery eyes, coughing, sore throat and difficulty breathing.

On June 2, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation once again shelled the Kharkiv region. The attack was carried out by S-300 missiles, two of which hit the forest massif of the Zmiyiv Society of the Chuguyiv District.
