In Tatarstan, orphans were called to go to war

In Tatarstan, graduates of orphanages began to be encouraged to go to war with Ukraine. The State Council of the republic is preparing to adopt a law according to which orphans who went to the front will receive a “preferential right” to housing. More than 1,500 people leave orphanages in Tatarstan every year, Russian media writes.

At the same time, even without a war, the state undertook to provide them with apartments after 18 years. However, money is not allocated in the budget for these needs, and orphans have to wait for years for housing.

Previously, the Governor of the Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, also offered to encourage orphans to fight in Ukraine in order to get housing.

The vice-speaker of the lower house, Hanna Kuznetsova, said that the government allocates 40 billion rubles per year for apartments instead of the required 600 billion. There are 288 thousand orphans waiting in line for housing. Two-thirds of them cannot get an apartment after reaching the age of 18.

As reported by the “IS” group, the Russian Federation plans to send defendants and undertrials to war.
