Last night, the russian federation yet again attacked Ukraine with missiles and Iranian Shahed combat UAVs. Information on the aftermath is currently being updated.
During the day of July 2, the russian occupiers launched missile and air strikes using 12x cruise and anti-aircraft guided missiles and 8x Shahed combat UAVs against civilian infrastructure. The Ukrainian air defense forces and means intercepted 3x cruise missiles and 8x combat UAVs.
In addition, the enemy launched 57x air strikes and about 60x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the attacks caused civilian casualties on top of the destroyed civilian infrastructure.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
The adversary focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mar’inka axes, heavy fighting continues. During day of July 2, there were 39x combat engagements.
Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.
Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary continues to maintain its military presence. Russian forces launched an air strike in the vicinity of Pletenivka (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary fired mortars and artillery at more than 30x settlements, including Karpovychi, Khrinivka, Kam’yans’ka Sloboda (Chernihiv oblast), Sopych, Sokhany, Bilopillya, Ponomarenky (Sumy oblast), Kozacha Lopan’, and Vovchans’k (Kharkiv oblast).
Kup’yans’k axis: the adversary shelled Masyutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast) with artillery and mortars.
Lyman axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bilohorivka, Novolyubivka (Luhansk oblast), Dibrova, and Sivers’k (Donetsk oblast). Nevs’ke, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, and Tors’ke (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.
Bakhmut axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Min’kivka and Bohdanivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 10x settlements, including Vasyukivka, Chasiv Yar, and Ivanivske (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
Avdiivka axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of the city of Avdiivka. Also, enemy air strike was launched there. The adversary fired artillery at more than 10x settlements, including Avdiivka, Pervomais’ke, and Berdychi (Donetsk oblast).
Mar’inka axis: Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinity of the city of Mar’inka. At the same time, the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Kotlyarivka, Mar’inka, and Kurakhove. Also, the invaders fired artillery at more than 10x settlements, including Mar’inka, Pobjeda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).
Shakhtars’ke axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, and Blahodatne. The invaders shelled more than 15x settlements, including Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, Vodyane, and Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast).
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary focuses its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Zmiivka, Kherson, and Antonivka. The invaders fired artillery at more than 40x settlements, including Novodarivka, Ol’hivs’ke, Hulyaipole, Bilohir’ya (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Kozats’ke, Antonivka, Dniprovs’ke (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.
During the day of July 2, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 12x air strikes on the concentrations of the adversary troops. In the meantime, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 1x command post, 1x concentration of troops, 27x artillery systems at their firing positions, and 2x air defense systems of the enemy.
