On July 4, 2023, around 6:00 a.m., the Russian army shelled the city of Kherson. As a result, residential buildings were damaged, 2 people died, a man and a woman received life-threatening injuries. Residential buildings were also damaged as a result of the Russian shelling.
According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin: “On July 4, the Russians carried out 68 shellings of the Kherson region, firing 402 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, aviation and UAVs. 35 shells were fired over Kherson. Hits were recorded in residential quarters of populated areas of the region. 6 people were injured due to Russian aggression.”
