Consequences of a missile attack on the Lyman

In the morning of July 8, in the Donetsk region, Russian troops fired at the Lyman surface-to-air missile system, as a result of which at least 8 people were killed and 13 were injured of various degrees of severity.

This was written by the head of the regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenka, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

As the head of the region reported, Russian troops targeted the private sector, while damaging a house and a shop.

The head of the regional military administration said that the police were working on the spot. Paramedics provide the necessary medical assistance.

Later, Kyrylenko added that the rescuers extinguished the fires of a private residential building, an annex to the printing house, and 3 passenger cars, which were caused by the shelling.

Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs specified that the number of dead increased to 8, and the number of injured to 13: “At least 6 people were killed and 5 injured as a result of shelling by Russian terrorist forces in Liman.

Around 10 a.m., the Russians struck the city with multiple rocket launchers, targeting the private sector. The house and shop were damaged,” the law enforcement officers said.

In the Donetsk region, at one of the thermal power plants, which was repeatedly subjected to Russian shelling, the roof of the boiler-turbine workshop collapsed. As a result, a person died, there are missing people and people affected by the extraordinary event.

Russian troops are shelling the cities and villages of the Donetsk region every day. Front-line settlements in the region and those located in the relative rear are under attack.
