In the Kyiv region, houses were damaged as a result of falling fragments of downed Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones launched by Russia. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, on July 11.

He noted that the air alert in the region lasted for almost two hours, all targets were shot down, and there were no casualties.

“At the same time, residential buildings were damaged in two districts of Kyiv region as a result of falling debris. In particular, 12 private houses and one multi-storey building. The damage is minor: broken windows, doors, cut facades, roofs. All victims will receive the necessary assistance in repairing the damaged housing. In addition, as a result of the fall “The grass floor caught fire in several places of the wreckage. The fires have been extinguished,” he wrote. The press service of the State Emergency Service reported that the debris fell in the Fastiv and Obukhiv districts, and published photos from the scene.

At night, the Russians carried out an aerial attack on Kyiv for the second time since the beginning of July, this time with Shahed kamikaze drones. Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported that all air targets were shot down.

The head of the police of the Kyiv region, Andrii Nebytov, informed that Shahed debris damaged windows and utility buildings of households in the region. There are no casualties.
