On July 11, Russian troops set fire to the residential quarters of Kherson. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin: “At this moment, it is known that the humanitarian headquarters and at least five residential buildings were hit. Fires broke out in the places of shelling.”
Prokudin clarified that rescuers and medics are working on the ground. “Preliminarily, two people were injured, one of them is in serious condition,” the message reads.
Earlier, the authorities of Kherson reported that in the coming hours, Russian shelling of the city’s railway station is likely.

The police received a report that in the temporarily occupied city of Oleshki, the Russian military opened fire with artillery, as a result of which a couple of pensioners died.

A 68-year-old man has serious injuries. The fragments injured his head, neck, chest, arms and legs. Two people, a 56-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man, received moderate injuries. Another man was injured in Kindytsy.
All the victims were hospitalized, doctors are providing them with the necessary medical assistance.
