UKRAINIAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS ARE READY TO OPERATE
WITHOUT RUSSIAN NUCLEAR FUEL

Energoatom will continue to purchase nuclear fuel from Westinghouse.
In addition, the Company will accelerate work on the production of fuel cartridges
in Ukraine based on American Westinghouse technology. This will completely
replace the Russian fuel.

THE SYSTEM OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND THE ENERGY MARKET IN
GENERAL, WHICH EXISTED BEFORE THE WAR, WILL NO LONGER EXIST.
THIS SYSTEM OF ENERGY WILL CHANGE IN THE WORLD

“The ultimate goal is energy independence from Russian resources. And the
decision to impose an embargo on Russian oil is one of the steps towards achieving
it”, – said the Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
“In fact, there is a revolution in the understanding of dependence on Russian
energy. But, unfortunately, this revolution is taking place at the cost of Ukrainians
life”, – he added.
