Hitting a residential building and injuring children: the consequences of Russian attacks on the Kherson region

The Russians attacked Kherson, populated areas of Beryslavsky and Kherson districts around the clock with anti-aircraft guns, mortars, artillery, aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on October 9, the Russian military covered Stanislav with fire from multiple rocket launchers. One of the shells hit a private house. As a result of shelling, 10 residential buildings were damaged. The police continue to record the consequences of the Russian attacks on the Kherson region.

Russia shelled Kherson and its suburbs with various types of weapons. In the Korabelny district, during the nighttime shelling of the enemy with multiple rocket-propelled grenades, shells damaged an administrative building, a high-rise building, at least 19 private houses and cars, and injured a 63-year-old woman and men aged 33 and 67.

In addition, the “Tavriyskyi” microdistrict came under shelling, high-rise buildings and a hair salon were significantly damaged, and cars burned in the parking lot. A 34-year-old man and three members of the same family were injured in their own apartments: a 24-year-old man, his 27-year-old wife and a 9-month-old daughter.

The Russians carried out airstrikes on Beryslav, 5 buildings and warehouses were damaged by the explosions of guided bombs, the windows and doors of the educational institution were blown out by the blast wave, and a 73-year-old local resident was injured.

Kostyrka was also under Russian airstrikes, after a powerful explosion a hangar with agricultural machinery was destroyed, a fire started there, and a 54-year-old security guard was injured. The fire damaged a harvester, 3 tractors, a crane, 2 trucks, a loader and a fuel truck.
