The death of a 16-year-old boy from Sumy in the Velikopysary region: what is known

On October 26, a tragedy occurred in the village of Pozhnya of the Velikopysarov community: a teenager died during the shelling. According to local residents and the village leadership, the deceased boy’s grandfather was the former director of the Poznań school, and his grandson was the meaning of life for him.

16-year-old Roman lived with his parents in Sumy, but visited his grandfather, who needed outside help due to illness.

On October 26, at 1 p.m., the Russian army struck a peaceful village through which the route of the Sumy-Velika Pysarivka bus runs. Roman was killed by a shell fragment right on the doorstep of his own house.
