Administration buildings and port infrastructure were damaged as a result of Russian missiles hitting Odesa.

In the afternoon and evening of November 21, Russian tactical aviation launched missile strikes on the territory of the Odesa region using anti-radar missiles of the Kh-31P type, the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine reported.

The Russian military directs such missiles in an attempt to detect and destroy air defense systems.

“On the territory of Odesa and the Belgorod-Dniester district, an open surface, administrative building and port infrastructure were hit. No people were injured,” the Defense Forces said.

Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed that the port infrastructure in Odesa was affected. He also called on the residents of the region to respond to air raid signals and take shelter due to the activity of Russian aircraft.

The Prosecutor General’s Office has launched an investigation into the fact of the attack as a violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The survey of the impact site is ongoing, the degree of destruction and damage is being determined.

At the scene of the incident, prosecutors are working with investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), who are recording yet another war crime of the Russian Federation.
