Around 10:00 a.m., the Russians struck 6 strikes on the city of Vovchansk. According to the police, they were targeting a crowd of people. There, in the morning, in particular, they distributed free food near the supermarket.

Immediately after the shelling, it turned out that a 66-year-old woman was seriously injured. Vladyslav Yefarov, the head of the investigative department, who was one of the first to arrive, took her to the hospital in his car.

– I was at a work meeting when the shelling started. The walls in the administrative building shook and I understood from the sound that the first flights had arrived in the city center. That’s why I immediately went there, Yefarov himself said.

At the place of the hit, in the crowd, people tried to help the wounded woman. At that time, she was still conscious and Vladyslav took her to his car, they went to the hospital together with a female doctor who was passing by, Bolvinov explains.

– Unfortunately, we did not have time to save the woman, the medic noticed the absence of a pulse while on the way. And when they got to the hospital, they already declared death there, – added Vladyslav Yefarov, head of the investigative department.

Another 63-year-old local resident was slightly injured, but she did not need hospitalization. In addition, an injured man who was in the car that burned to the ground after the Russian strike is in the hospital. Currently, doctors are helping him.

According to the head of the Investigative Department of the Kharkiv Region Police, after the attack from the Grad anti-aircraft gun, the Russians opened fire with artillery and continued the attack.
