There, the fragments of the downed rocket hit the yard of a private house. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
At noon, the police, military and pyrotechnics work at the site of the downed rocket.
“We heard a whistle, then a loud explosion, went outside, saw that the debris was already burning, everything was hissing, smoke was coming out. Thank God no one was hurt. A huge fragment from the rocket fell in the neighbor’s yard. He says everything is fine, he’s alive, only the car it rained,” said Serhiy, who lives in the nearby hostel.
Vitaliy, another resident of the street where the remains of the rocket fell, says that he was just going to the store when the Ukrainian anti-aircraft fire started working.
“At first I wanted to turn onto the street where the debris fell, but for some reason I turned onto another. Because if I had followed the first, I wouldn’t be here. I’m walking and I hear the arrival of planes, I raise my head and see a rocket that has already been hit above my head. It flies straight at me. What to do? I sat down, bent down, and it hit the ground 50 meters from me. It was lucky,” the man recalls.
