On December 29, during an aerial alert, the Russians released 14 Shahed drones and 15 missiles over the territory of Lviv region, which hit one of Lviv’s industrial enterprises.

This was reported by the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi: “During the night air alert, 14 Shahed drones attacked Lviv region. Eight of them were destroyed by our soldiers from the “West” Air Command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the morning, 15 missiles attacked our region. 10 of them were destroyed by the Air Defense Forces.

A 44-year-old man died as a result of a rocket hitting a high-rise building on Hotkevicha Street in Lviv. 17 people, including one child, were injured. Five people were hospitalized. Most of the victims were injured by fragments of windows that were knocked out by the blast wave.

7 residential buildings were severely damaged, 11 more were damaged to a lesser extent. Two lyceums and a kindergarten were also affected.”

During the night air alert on December 29, around 5:30 a.m., Lviv region was attacked by 14 Shahed drones. Most of the Russian objects were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense forces, but there were also hits.

Later, during the air alert, which lasted from 07:05 to 09:30, Lviv was subjected to a massive rocket attack.

According to information, as of 11:00 a.m., one person died in Lviv, 15 were injured, and the blast wave damaged more than 10 residential buildings, three schools and a kindergarten. The chairman of Lviv Andriy Sadovy reported that the commission on emergency situations makes a decision on full compensation of all losses to residents.
