According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia launched six Kh-22 missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers, which they used to hit Shostka.
As a result of the missile strike in Shostka, Sumy region, an infrastructure facility was damaged, and 12,000 apartments were left without heating. This was reported in the Sumy Regional Military Administration: “Preliminarily seven explosions have been recorded. Damaged infrastructure object. In the morning, 12,000 residents’ apartments were left without heating. As of 11 a.m., the restoration of heat supply began. Emergency and rescue services continue their work.”
According to preliminary data from the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office, the Russian army used Kh-22 supersonic cruise missiles. The blast wave damaged at least 26 buildings. As a result of the attack, a 47-year-old civilian woman was injured.
