“There are two locations of damage – a residential sector and an infrastructure object. About 40 private houses were damaged. The rocket hit the road, a large gap was formed. The blast wave and debris damaged roofs, windows, and partially destroyed the walls of the houses. One resident was injured, he was hospitalized, but he died in the intensive care unit around 8 o’clock in the morning. He received severe mine-explosive injuries and a craniocerebral injury,” he said.
The chairman added that a total of 12 people were injured in the city. They mostly have minor injuries, doctors provided them with medical assistance on the spot.
Also, gas and water pipelines were damaged in Mykolaiv, communal services are already dealing with the consequences.
“The second location is the territory of an industrial facility. There, a fire broke out in the building, rescuers immediately arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire,” Sienkovych added.
