
During July 5, 5 fires broke out in the city of Zaporizhzhia, Polohivskyi and Zaporizhzhia districts as a result of Russian shelling. The fire destroyed a field with crops, warehouses of a private enterprise, outbuildings and damaged an agricultural enterprise.
According to the State Emergency Service, in the village of Verkhnya Tersa, rescuers extinguished a fire in a barley field with a total area of 1 ha.
In the village of Novopavlivka, an unused outbuilding with an area of 30 sq. m. was burning.
In Zaporizhzhia, large-scale fires broke out in the buildings of a private enterprise – the flames covered 600 sq. m.
Rescuers continued to provide assistance to the population in front-line communities, in particular, they ensured the delivery of technical water. In addition, the SES sappers destroyed two mortar mines that were discovered in the settlements of the region. In total, 138 rescuers and 31 units of equipment were involved from the SES Main Directorate.
