A captive resident of Genichesk in the Kherson region was transferred to a Russian colony in Murmansk

A resident of Genichesk in the Kherson region, Oleksiy Kiselyov, illegally sentenced to 8.5 years in prison, was transferred from the strict regime colony “Vladimir Central” to colony No. 17 in the city of Murmansk.

This was reported by the political prisoner’s son, Artem Kiselyov.

It is noted that he was transferred to the colony on December 2. It is located 3,800 km from the political prisoner’s place of residence.

The son said that they are currently looking for a lawyer for Oleksiy Kiselyov to file a cassation appeal.

“Nothing else is known yet. Now a new lawyer will deal with his cassation appeal and there will be an opportunity for my father to be visited by a lawyer,” Artem Kiselyov added.

On July 22, 2022, he was abducted in Genichesk and held in the building of vocational school No. 17 in Genichesk, where the Russian Guard unit was based. There he was tortured with electric shocks and beaten for five days. Then, Alexey was transported to Simferopol to the building of the “Crimean FSB department”, where the mockery and torture continued. After that, the occupation investigators carried out an “official” detention and opened a criminal case. Alexey Kiselyov also went on a hunger strike on October 27, 2022 due to the lack of medical care. In February 2023, the Russian occupiers sentenced Alexey Kiselyov, a volunteer and former commander of the Ukrainian Navy’s control ship “Slavutych”, to 8.5 years in prison. The man is “accused” of participating in the activities of the “Noman Chelebidzhikhan battalion”. At the same time, Oleksiy Kiselyov does not admit his guilt, because he never had any connection to this unit.
